Tom Arnould serves as the pastor of Good News Church. Although raised in a Christian home, it wasn't until the age of 17 that Tom’s life began to grow spiritually. It was as a senior in high school that he made a personal commitment to read God’s Word “every day for the rest of his life.” That single decision not only changed his life, but has also brought change into the lives of countless others. Since then his passion for God’s Word has grown into a ministry of Biblical teaching. Each week Good News Church attracts men and women of all ages and denominational backgrounds who are interested in growing in their knowledge of God's Word.
In addition to serving the congregation of Good News Church, he has also served on numerous ministry trips in Central America and Central Europe. His ministry includes a radio broadcast on the Oasis Network airing in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Virginia.
Tom and his wife Sharon serve together in ministry. They have been blessed with three sons: Luke, Andrew, and John-Paul.
Tom earned his BBA from the School of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Sharon Arnould works in the administration side at Good News Church. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she has a passion for her family and her relationship with God. Sharon works alongside her husband Tom assisting him in the various ministries of the church.
Ministers of Youth
Jay and Amanda DePalmo are volunteer Ministers of Youth at Good News Church. They are both graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK, where Jay majored in Youth Ministry. As a bi-vocational minister Jay also serves his employer as a business leader. With a passion for business and a passion for teenagers they enjoy being a part of the spiritual growth of young people.
The youth ministry is focused on Word based teaching designed for strengthening and growing the human spirit. The end result being a young person who has grown spiritually to be able to handle challenges as a young adult and be able to continue their spiritual growth as they continue to walk with the Lord throughout their adult life. Our teens have a lot of fun and develop life lasting friendships while still keeping the Word of God first place in their lives.
